“On October 23rd, the Coalition to Abolish Death By Incarceration is bringing hundreds of people to the state capitol in Harrisburg to demand an end to Death By Incarceration (also known as Life Without Parole) in Pennsylvania. Can you help us get there?
This year’s rally is called On Both Sides: Day of Action to End Death By Incarceration and Heal Our Communities. The rally will highlight the voices of those who have lost loved ones to both violence and the prison system.
We’ll be traveling together as family of those serving DBI, activists and advocates, formerly incarcerated people, survivors of violence, and people of faith. We will be rallying in the Capitol Rotunda and meeting with our legislators to ask them to support legislation that would create parole eligibility for those serving DBI.
CADBI has grown tremendously over the last four years, with people joining from every corner of the state. This means our power is growing, and we need additional resources to help as many people as possible participate.
