If we help people to see that reform and redemption are one in the same, it would open the idea of redemption as a right to a broader base. For example, if someone is for reform then they’ll be open to redemption, thus the names of the bills tackling DBI wouldn’t have to be so technical (lifers bill such and such, or senate bill #..), instead it would be called “Redemption Bill”, which may draw wider embrace – reform is redemption, right?
